Sign that you are eating too much sugar and it effect

   You feel some itches and some abnormalities in your body and you can't tell if it as a result of high sugar, This post will widen your knowledge and you will be able to tell if really what wrong is due to excessive sugar intake or something else entirely.

   It a general knowledge that carbohydrates especially refine are some of the most harmful ingredient for the human body when they are in excess, this is due to the fact that carbohydrates contain  sugars, And because carbohydrates are presents in most of the food we consume, it is impossible to avoid them even if we try. In long run excessive carbohydrates can cause harmful effect yo our body.

   When there is too much sugar  in the body which all if not all is from carbohydrates, it become metabolized into body fat, which is the root cause of most metabolic disease known today.

   Bellow are some harmful effect of excess sugar in the body.

    Excess sugar damage the liver. It is already a confirmed fat that the effect of excess sugar is similar to that of alcohol, all the carbohydrates you consume goes to the liver because the liver is the organ that can metabolize sugar and also has the transporter for it. Through this, the liver in the long run become full of glycogen, the excess is turn into fat. After some of the fat has been transported through the blood as triglycerides, some can still remain in the liver and cause nonalcoholic fatty liver disease.

  High carbohydrates also leads to weight gain and affect your insulin and Leptin function. It also tricks your metabolism by turning off your appetite control system. In other word it fails to stimulate insulin which in turn fails to suppress your hunger hormone which also result to failure in stimulating the Leptin
 
   High sugar affect proper metabolic function, excessive sugar intake trigger the group of symptoms known as metabolic syndrome, this may lead to weight gain, abdominal obesity, elevate blood sugar, elevate high blood pressure and much more.

   High sugar intake also increases the uric acid level which increases the chance of you having heart or kidney disease and some other diseases.

  •    You found out that somehow you have been gaining a lot if weight. Well this should not be a surprise as high sugar intake point to calories adding up, unfortunately sugar has no protein or fibers so it does not suppresses your craving for food, it only makes you eat more.

  •   Sugar also triggers insulin secretion and insulin plays a important role in weight gain. When you eat more sugar your pancreas produce more insulin which transport sugar to your body organ to be use for energy, So when you take excess sugar your body will secrete more insulin, this excessive sugar intake leads to insulin resistance over time. Insulin resistance means that your body can not respond to insulin level properly. Therefore you can't metabolize sugar properly, the initial weight gain from sugar calories turn into disruption of your normal insulin response and with this weight gain is unavoidable. This is the relationship between insulin resistance and obesity.

  •  The most serious outcome of excessive sugar is diabetes as this situation occur when the pancreas I'd over worked for a long time.

  • High sugar intake become an addictive cycle, sugar addiction Is also compare to the intake of drugs and you become high followed by a fall just like in an actual drug.

  • The blood sugar crash that occur when sugar is metabolise in your body trigger mood swing, Low energy level, it also contribute to moodiness or make you feel sluggish through out the day. Sugar consumption first causes a spike of insulin  and good mood but when sugar is metabolised it causes an inevitable crash. According to research energy is most stable when sugar is stable, which means eating too much sugar affect your blood glucose level which leads to high and low of energy, energy is also gained from protein and fibers which is suppose to balance the energy level instead of excess sugar intake.

  • Food began to lose their taste, high sugar intake causes food other edible things not to taste as they are supposed to. Eating too much sugar affect your taste, what this mean us that high sugar intake decrease your sugar tolerance so you find yourself eating more and more sugar to satisfy your sweet tongue. This means that it will take lot of sugar for you to feel that something is actually sweet. To lower sugar tolerance and be satisfied, you need to cut down on sugar which may be hard at start but you would feel better and easy over time.

Fogginess, high sugar make your brain to start feeling foggy especially after a meal  and according to health experts, brain fogginess is a common indicator of low blood sugar level, wondering how this has to do with high sugar, yes it has something to do with high sugar, when you overload your system with sugar, your blood system with sugar, your blood sugar glucose level rises and fall sharply instead of gradually, so it looks like you are suffering from low blood sugar level when actually you are suffering from high blood level.
